Do you want more happiness in your life? How to be happy in life.
This week I want to share with all of you an easy way to find a moment of joy and for you to re-live it. About several months ago, I created a very powerful Hacking the Law of Attraction, (check it out here) guided meditation, called, “Receive a Gift” This is an effortless meditation that will take you to a happy moment in your life. I have received wonderful feedback, and people seem to be attracting stuff much faster with this meditation, most. Some of those emails, while happy with the meditation itself, had something else in common, a question. The question revolved around one concern; Not being able to recall a happy moment. This affirmation is heartbreaking, but it does not mean it must continue to be the same way, and “remembering how to smile” is something that we all can do.
This meditation asks you to go back to a happy moment in your life. Finding a joyful moment does not only apply to your wedding, the day you got promoted or your first kiss, maybe for whatever reasons, but you may not have experienced these, or you cannot find these to be good times, regardless of what the rest of the world claims. It neither needs to be an achievement, a breakthrough nor a wonderful gift, as it may be the unfortunate situation where you can’t find these either. If you see yourself rock bottom, you need to start smiling the most. However, is when you want to smile the least… so you need to “artificially” trigger it, as a happy memory, can be much more simple. Unless you are 24/7 hours locked up in an empty white room, you are constantly exposed to positive stimuli that triggered at least a split-second of a positive feeling. Maybe you saw a cute puppy, maybe you watched a movie with a wonderful ending, and you feel happy since you did relate to the actors. Maybe, someone told you, “That blouse looks wonderful on you today!” A phone call, a Skype message, even, that ridiculous meme you saw the other day and made you laugh. I am sure any of these happened to you within the last seven days. To work your happiness its way up, you need to go out, socialize and enjoy your own relaxing time. So, you have experienced some of these “minor” moments of joy.
How to be happier? How to feel better with life?
The key here is to start smiling and have more lucid happy moments, as those little things (petting a puppy for example), can jump-start your “joy box” and thus, feeling up your heart with more positive feelings. As you know, like attracts like, and that little bit of happiness that you have felt, it contributes to attracting more. When you fill up your heart with joy and gratitude, you start to materialize your desires. As your desires manifest, your joy expands. With more joy, your desire to share expands. It is important to remember to share during tough times too. You start to share your blessings more. You are sharing and expressing gratitude, thus raising your joy, even more, fueling, even more, this “materialization engine” and getting a greater result… as you can see, it exponentially increased in a looped way. Precisely, this has happened to some people after using the “Receive a Gift” guided meditation. I know that some of you told me you want to be able to fuel this meditation, and I just gave you an essential foundation in how to do so. So, now you can get the most out of this meditation, and for those who wanted to try it out but were afraid it wasn’t going to work due to the abovementioned reason, now you can!

You now have a point to find happiness and healing. Things to be happy in life are always there.
Now, I also want to share how to “activate” this “artificial” happiness right on the spot, without the need of any guided meditation. It is straightforward really:
- You just need to go back to that very moment. Let’s pretend that you recall a chocolate lab puppy you saw the other day. Only find and identify the moment that gave you a positive experience.
- Now that you have the memory of that puppy focus harder. Try to make the vision as real as possible. Try to recall the feeling of petting the puppy, remember all the noises the pup was making and how happy he was. Recall when the licked your hard and started jumping because he wanted to play with you. Recall the sound of his happy barking… Make yourself an entire movie out from this.
- You should feel at least a slight positive feeling (if not, look for other memory), and when you feel this, I want you to focus all your attention on your emotions and heart. I wish you to relive the situation, with your entire being indeed! This will make you happier and happier, and if the memory recalled is more complicated, you can continue the movie (maybe you played with the dog for a while, or you took a pleasant stroll right after that you also enjoyed very much, make sure to re-live it!
Following these three steps, you will shift your emotions too much better positive feelings. Now, that you have these positive feelings, you only need to visualize what you desire, making sure you continue to hold onto those positive feelings you just triggered early.

These are just a few images, but these, are meaningful for me. As you can see, it is very easy to find your meaningful photos that could make you smile a little more. You know what they say, smiles and laughter are contagious… and if there are few of those in your being, but you allow them to arise, they will grow stronger, stronger and stronger!
So, you have now the awareness of going back to a past moment or finding a moment right now to trigger a smile off from you. Even a little smile already makes a big difference when you are trying to attract something in your life. In fact, that one small moment of happiness will “get the Universe started” in materializing what you need, and when you start to notice the very tip of this iceberg, your joy will grow, bringing more pleasant moments, empowering, even more, the Universe’s power to materialize what you manifested. This will trigger a chain reaction of abundance, laughter, and joy! Try it!
